2011 in retrospect

Marty here. With only a couple of days left in this year it's about time to publish our own "looking-back-at-2011" thing. So here goes...

In February we launched the new and improved Discography, which now contains ~550 different versions of Bad Religion releases.
In February another awesome new section on the site was introduced: the Collectibles! In total 475 items can currently be found here. Mostly t-shirts, but also some very rare stuff such as this recently added golden Stranger Than Fiction record:

 


In August the long awaited Media section went live. Already it contains 286 interviews (even dating back to 1981!), 55 articles and 155 reviews. Thanks to wrong planet and Jesse for gathering all this pieces of Bad Religion history!
This year we all shouted approximately 186,650 times.
We now have ~4400 followers on Twitter and ~400 people who "like" us on Facebook.
2011 was also the year of the BR Page t-shirts. In April we started taking pre-orders and a month later the shirts were sent to their new owners. So far 78 shirts have been sold (without making profit, by the way!), which means that we still have some left.

     

After a number of years in which the infamous "Bad Religion day" (November 5) went by pretty much unnoticed, torbar organized a 44 hour streaming of BR related music and interviews, starting from November 5th in New Zealand. The last song being played was Sorrow. To listen to the live stream, a website was put up: badreligionday.com.
n1ckb0n3z felt a bit awkward with his new member title from last year so he got to merge it with the older one, which made him feel more at ease in his adult life in the forums.

So what will 2012 bring?

A new layout for the site in which the main improvement will be the move of the menu from the left to the top.
Audio and video interviews in the Media section and the option for everyone to submit stuff.
Updating The Answer with a huge amount of facts from the interviews and articles that were found this year.
A new Bad Religion album!!
