Bad Religion to play at Bluesfest

Bad Religion has been to confirmed to play the RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest in Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday July 11. Bad Religion will be replacing The Offspring, who cancelled the show for unknown reasons.

The Ottawa Bluesfest is a yearly outdoor music festival that takes place downtown Ottawa and is focused on blues. It's considered to be the biggest blues festival in Canada and the second biggest in North America.

This year the festival takes place from July 4 until July 15 and offers a variety of headlining artists such as Iron Maiden, Nickelback, Snoop Dogg, and Norah Jones.

Tickets are already on sale!

Extra tidbit: The band (Jay) also posted a message on Facebook. This is what they had to say:

"hi ottawa! we like you. so much so that we're coming back on july 11th at the bluesfest. if it was a jazzfest, we could totally make shit up and you wouldn't even know, but it's blues and i guess we'd better be pretty serious... or something."
